The biggest news of the day is that the invitations are in Atlanta. Nothing else happened. Not wedding related. Last night we talked reception food. Scott had some ideas that were far better than what I was coming up with. I guess I thought I was feeding a 1970's Avon party. I finally threw out a fall back plan, i.e. catering from Taco Bell. For me, it's a viable option. Look, and for your germaphobe friends, everything is individually wrapped! I knew it wouldn't fly this early, but my goal was just to get it on the back burner.
Been trying to come up with terms for our, I guess you can say witnesses. The best I've come up with so far is Ring Chaperone and the Handfast Express. I know, I know. It's nothing, but it's a process. You have to wade through the crap to find the gems. I guess that analogy makes my good ideas some sort of turd diamonds. It's good to try practice compliments on yourself before saying them to other people.
While Ring Chaperone and the Handfast Express might make a good sci-fi/western story someday, some better titles will come along. I've got 1/3 of me working on it. Scott will be home soon, maybe we can bounce names off each other. Our plans are to go to the park Monday. Perhaps I'll do a little videography to share.
Supposedly, I found some vows. I'm not convinced.
Niecezilla has invited us up Saturday to survey the party zone. She sent great pics, but they will be more helpful in recalling the room when planning later. She polished off a bottle of wine for me. Such a good niece. I think Scott got one more from work. Gotta start looking for the right candles. Actually what I need to do is go back over my wedding book to see if I'm forgetting anything.
